With the founding of WOM USA in Orlando, Florida, in 1998 as the first location abroad, the internationalization of the WOM Group began.
The increasing demand from the USA as well as our own demand to be able to serve customers in North and South America faster – without big time and distance problems – underpinned this important step in the company’s history.
Company founder Peter P. Wiest set up the location in the Sunshine State together with his wife Sandie and supported the team over many years on site.
The decision to go to the southeastern United States has never been regretted. Florida offers ideal conditions for a successful business development and the necessary infrastructure as a hub for the American market.
The range of services in the company-owned building has been steadily expanded over the years. Today, besides the customer support provided by the sales team, the technical service is also of great importance.
