For the seventh time in a row, WOM awards its best trainee of the second year a VW up! The car is free use for one year – insurance and fuel costs included.
This year, 18-year-old Andreas Herler from Förtschendorf won the race. The budding metalworker could not believe his luck. “The possible win was definitely a great incentive to deliver good performance in school and company,” said Andreas Herler. Still, it was a big surprise for him.
“The topic of education is very important to WOM,” as COO Thomas Frei emphasized when handing over the keys. “Only with well-trained and motivated young professionals can we meet the future challenges in the Upper Franconia region and support our planned growth,” says Free.
The medical technology company is currently training 15 young people. Three additional trainees will start in the fall. By now, WOM has more than 276 employees at sites in Ludwigsstadt and Reichenbach.
