Not only the sun was cheerful on this Sunday at the Berlin “Reiterstadion.” In blackberry-colored jerseys, the 3,476 participants – runners and walkers alike – were happy about taking part in the BARMER Women’s Run.
In the largest German women’s race series with venues in 6 cities, the focus is on the fun of doing sports together.
Before the race, there was plenty of opportunity to go on a discovery tour of the Women’s Village together with friends and family or relax with a massage in the Women’s Day Spa. The warm-up shows with instructions by VPs ensured optimal starting conditions.
Our WOM runners also had a great start on the 5 and 8 km routes with this year’s motto “Motivation Miracle” in mind. A special highlight was the run through the marathon gate over the blue tartan track in the Olympic Stadium.
